Where Are The Answers?

Okay....
I'm sorry!

I know I said I'd post  the answers to any questions given to me back at the beginning of August. Unfortunately, August got away from me.

So, here's your opportunity!
If you would still like to ask me any questions (those of you who haven't asked any), you still have a chance!

Thursday (September 5) is my birthday, and what better time to post such a post? So, while I won't be posting my answers on that day, I will be the next day (Friday, September 6).

So here's your chance!

Please! Ask Away!!!!!!! ;-)

Ask Away!

Okay, so I haven't been saying anything the last few months because it's been rather busy getting better and settling into our apartment after moving, and all. I don't want to let this blog completely die over the summer, so was a bit inspired by Miss Laurie's Q&A session to do my own. This is probably a really great opportunity to get to know me better...if you want to.
So,  ask away! Ask me anything you want, and I will answer honestly.
I will endeavor to answer all questions put to me, but, if there is too large an amount, I may have to pick and choose.
So, start asking your questions in the comments or, if you would rather email, you may request my address (if you don't already know it), and I will post an answer post at the beginning of August.

Does this sound okay with all of you?

PDC Review 4- From Time To Time

Sorry I haven't gotten to this sooner- I explain why in the video. And here is my fourth review for the Period Drama Challenge at Miss Laurie's blog Old-Fashioned Charm. This time, I am reviewing the period drama/ghost story/family movie From Time To Time- starring Maggie Smith.

PDC Review 2- Amazing Grace

This is my second review (first for March) for Miss Laurie's Period Drama Challenge.
This time I did Amazing Grace.
And it's not too late to participate, if you want. Just go to Miss Laurie's blog for details.

And, now, here's my review:

Enjoy! :-)

PDC February Questions

As part of Miss Laurie's Period Drama Challenge, I have tag questions to answer at the end of each month. I know I'm a few days late, but better late than never, right? ;-)

1. What period dramas have you watched in February?
I'm afraid the only thing I watched for reviewing was Season 1 of Downton Abbey.

2. How many Charles Dickens adaptations have you seen?
In total of my life? Or over the challenge? If over the challenge, then none, yet- thouugh, there shall be. In life, about nine and a half.

3. Do you prefer heroes that are spotless wealthy gentlemen or gritty hardworking men?
Hard to say.... There's a side of both that I like. It really all depends on the man, himself, but I think I do tend toward the spotless wealthy- though, I have no problem with gritty hardworking, either.

4. Do you tend to prefer heroines that are sweet and gentle or adventurous and spunky?
Why can't they be a bit of both? I like it when they have a bit of both in  them.

5. Do you enjoy listening to period drama soundtracks? Do you own any?
Yes, I do, when the music is interesting to me. I have the A&E/BBC P&P soundtrack on my computer, and some songs from North&South (especially the main theme), and, perhaps, a few others I can't think of at this moment.

Enjoy my answers, and my coming reviews for the month! :-)

Period Drama Challenge

Miss Laurie is having a period drama challenge at her blog Old-Fashioned Charm. The goal is to watch a certain amount of period dramas (there are various category amounts to pledge to) and review them on your blog between January 7 and July 7- that's 26 weeks!. The number categories she has organized are:
5 Films- Period Film Admirer
8 Films- Period Film Lover
10 Films- Period Film Devotee
12 to 15 Films- Period Film Fanatic

I, personally, have decided on 15-20 films, as I don't have much of a life (let's face it, it's true :-P ). Does that make me Period Film Obsessed? I plan to do at least one film a week, which could enable me to do the full 26, but, of course, I'm giving leeway for anything that may come up. Who knows, though, I could do up to that or more! Still, I'm only going to pledge the 15-20. If you would like to know more about everything this involves, just visit the post at Old-Fashioned Charm to get your answers. (You can also click on the button on the left side bar to get there.)

I am possibly getting a late start on this, though, just as I am on my 2013 reading list, as I am on my second flu bug in a row. :-P This has been causing me not to feel like reading or watching anything. It's amazing I actually felt up to posting this. :-P

I shall be posting a review for each TV drama, movie, or series I watch. They will probably be short and and sweet, knowing myself, but hopefully they shall be good. ;-)
And I shall be adding the name of each (as a link) to this post to create a full list.
